Part IV of the original Welcome to Arcadia post.
Whoa you guys trying to blow me into the river?
Caught snoozing on the job.
Zzzzzz… mayor… your Dream Suite is now unlocked…zzz.
Random gyroid I dug up. This one does a cute action when it goes off x3
Wow she really liked that fruit.
Visiting Papi’s place, I finally get the chance to get rid of that stereo playing that evil music!
Oh yeah, lookin’ smug.
Wait whaaa?? It wasn’t the stereo that was evil??
. . .
He has a little paint set in his house 🙂
I got a toy hammer on the island! Yaay, whack whack whack!
That’s a very staid response to being bonked on the head while fishing.
Paying off the 8th and last streetlamp that’ll go around my house.
Catching a glimpse of the LS012-series train.
… I learnt that from Colton the horse.
Visiting the Napoleonfish I caught at the museum.
I wonder what will go on a plinth this large?
Wow it’s dreary today o_o
An endless sea of dark clouds and heavy rain.
Redd is here again!! :eek:It’s barely been four days, and I hadn’t even got to donating my Beautiful Statue yet to unlock the museum 2nd floor. Now I won’t need to donate it
So let’s see what the authentic artwork is today. . .
. . . . . .
. . .
So after buying our second Beautiful Statue, off to check out the rest of town on this very wet day…
The cicadas don’t even bother chirping. (Do cicada’s chirp? I know crickets chirp, but I can’t think of another word for what cicadas do -_-)
It’s interesting that they also made different dialogue for when you catch the cicadas on a rainy day.
Checking out Cheri’s house, which is preeetty cool. It’s funny how you can just get free items now from snooping in people drawers xD
I couldn’t for the life of me work out what this item was. Maybe it’s a shelf? But as an item it doesn’t look very functional.
An improvement in my town rating!
Lost items. Fun ^^
Hee hee, I liked the way she thanked me 😛 Animals in New Leaf are much more polite than in Wild World. I feel in Wild World they would have just said, “What an outlandish accusation!” and left it at that.
They’re also more polite when reminding you about appointments you’ve made with them. In WW they all sort of take a “Don’t you dare forget now”-tone 😆
The streetlamps around my house are complete! You can only see two of them 😛 They’re pretty far apart. Because I’m greedy.
Wow that’s oppressive. Maybe I should have kept the brick wall…
Lily is the first to be moving form Arcadia. I’m letting her go because of the really inconvenient location of her house ^^;
I thought it was about time that Amy’s Katie should appear in town, and sure enough, I got a response when I called on the megaphone.
Taking her around the town with me 🙂
Uhh, nice timing there Olivia, I’m trying to take a photo here with Katie -_-
This should go better with that black stone wall.
My two Beautiful Statues together 😀 … I doubt I’ll be lucky enough to get a third, so I’ll resist the temptation to decorate my room permanently with the both of them.
Wart Jr. and pancakes.
Wowww, she’s ooooooooold.
Sable is warming up to us 😀
For some reason, I had the impression that Mabel and Sable weren’t on good terms with Labelle since she’s the sister who lives in the city and is all into high fashion. I’m glad that doesn’t seem to be the case.
I decided to try out the Dream Suite! I went for a random town and got Nintendo’s village.
It had a strange history, starting and ending before the game even came out, and having a record of zero visitors.
Eating a Famous Mushroom while trying out the Zelda dress pattern.
A pretty combination of hybrid tulips.
Next I tried giving Luna a Dream Address…
Ooh this cryptic message that Dream-Estel is saying, what must it mean?
I came around Violet’s house from the right side, so it was pretty impressive when this waterfall sudden came into view! It looked pretty cool coupled with the bridge.
I love these houses! The purple-roofed one really caught my eye from the other side of the river.
Lastly, my own Dream Address.
